Shana's attention to detail and background make her unique. Shana received a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Natural Resources Management. After that, she volunteered in Mali (West Africa) with the Peace Corps as a Natural Resources Management Extension Agent. In Mali, Shana helped with environmental education, tree nursery establishment and water consevation projects. When she returned to Colorado she received a law degree from the University of Denver.
After passing the bar and receiving her law license, Shana worked as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado ("AG's") in the water rights unit.
